Darren Mulligan from We Are Messengers visited the station recently and he said something that hit me to my core. He said that when he first went to church he saw a sign that said, “Jesus – the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow!” His first thought was “so?” And then, years later, he realized why it was so important that God is the same always.
It got me thinking about this past year and change – wow, has it been unstable. Every day something is changing and we’ve learned to brace ourselves for impact. You can never even guess what will happen next.
But God is steady. He is unmoving. He is stable. He is unshakable. He is unchangeable. And His love for you is never ending. No matter what storms you’re enduring, no matter what chaos is surrounding you – He is steady and His plan for you is steady. It has not changed and it is still good. So hang in there, friend, you’ve got this.
HEBREWS 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
