From Mess to Message

If you know me, you know I love outdoor adventures! A few weeks ago, I decided to do a Tough Mudder! I am still bruised but it was so fun! If you aren’t aware, a Tough Mudder is an obstacle course in the mud! The idea is that it forces you to focus on teamworkphysical strength, and endurance in order to be successful.

One thing that is really awesome about the Tough Mudder organization is that they take your muddy shoes and give them to others in need! HUH?!? Instead of throwing them away, participants can donate them. They are cleaned up, sanitized, and then given to people who could really use them! I know it sounds weird, right? But you know, sometimes the things that we throw away, are treasures for other people. We don’t often realize sometimes how good we have it and how blessed we are.

The point is, just like muddy shoes are cleaned and restoredso are we. We can be messy. I know I am at times. That is why I love Jesus!  When I walk with Him, He cleans me upHe makes me strongHe makes me wiseHe gives me a new lifeHe forgives me and He loves me no matter what! He shows me what really matters in life. With that blessing, I can help others

If you feel like your life is messy, give it to Jesus! Let Him clean you up! Let Him make you shine again. Let Him make you strong. He can take any mess and turn it into your message! He can take any mess and make you beautiful again! With that blessing, you can help others who desperately need the love that God gave you!

Blessings,
Brenda Price

Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
