Focus on the steps, not the mountain

Don’t look at the mountain in front of you. Instead, focus on each step, one step at a time.

We are more than conquerors through Christ who gives us strength, but sometimes, when we look at the obstacles in front of us, we don’t feel so strong, right?

This past 4th of July weekend was amazing wasn’t it? The weather was perfect! Beautiful sunny skies and not a pinch of humidity. My friends and I hiked Mt. Tammany… 5 miles … 5 hours… such a beautiful hike! Despite the beauty though, the hike was difficult at times. Parts of the hike were really steep! We were climbing rocks and taking needed intermittent breaks. It was definitely work to get to the top, but it was all worth it in the end. The views from Mt. Tammany’s vista are breathtaking!

Don’t look at the mountain in front of you. Instead, focus on each step, one step at a timeGod will give you strength for each step along the way. When you get to the top of your vista, you can enjoy the view and know you are stronger and wiser because of it and ready to take on the next climb!!

Jeremiah 31:3I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
