He Has a Plan…No Matter What

I still remember her first day of high school and thinking, “This is going to go by so fast. You’re going to blink, Dad….” Blink. I did, and then I was watching my now 18-year-old daughter, Emily, walking up to accept her diploma. I now have a high school graduate! I still need to pinch myself when I think about this.

What’s next for Emily? A bit of a gap year, then off to college. She’s unsure of what to study right now, but she’ll find her groove…she always does. That’s one thing I know about my daughter, she always finds her place. She’s had a lot of interests over the years: real estate, marine biology, dermatology, even radio (I like that), but she’s still mulling over her path. There’s never a rush, though. I tell her that and remind her that she’ll find her thing, but one thing I know is that God has a plan for her no matter what. I remind her about this often.

Planning for things is good, but don’t forget that HE has a plan for you. God loves YOU and has plans for YOU.

JEREMIAH 29:11“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
