Yes, He does! He will also calm all your fears and celebrate over you with songs!
I think sometimes we find it hard to believe that Jesus actually has joy over us! We are always praising and thanking Him for all He has done for us, but do you ever really think about how much He adores you? When you put your hope in Him, He takes pleasure in you! (Psalm 147:11)
When you love and delight in someone, don’t you also love when they share their lives with you, when they want to spend time with you? Jesus wants you to share with Him, to spend time with Him. (Hebrews 4:16) He cares about you and He simply wants you to talk to Him; to pray to Him! (1 Thess 5:17) He hears your prayers and loves when you speak to Him. (Micah 7:7)
Prayer can be as simple as thanking him for all He does for you!(1 Thess. 5:18) God also loves when you cry out to Him for help. (Psalm 34:17) A really fun way to pray to God is through singing and praising! (Psalm 95:1-3) Whatever it may be, remember that God delights in you! He has made Himself available to you; He loves you; He wants you to trust in Him. The more you talk to God, the closer you get to Him, and the deeper you will feel His love and blessings.
