God is Good No Matter What!

2021— We thought it was going to be a distinctive break from the hardships of 2020. It was as though the New York City New Year’s Eve Ball drop signified the end of all the chaos we endured the previous year. But 2021 brought a lot of chaos and division in itself.

The truth is, 2021 gave us the opportunity to focus. What you focus on, shows the health of your walk with God. It’s a choice to be thankful in the middle of the storm. To find joy in the moments of sorrow. To love when people are acting completely unlovable. While we might have been coasting through 2020, because of the whiplash, 2021 was where we learned we didn’t have time to wallow any longer. We can still trust that God is good and has good things coming even when the situation around us looks bleak.

Let’s take this sentiment into this coming year too— the fact that God is good no matter what. The hope that He has great things in store and the knowledge that He loves us unconditionally.

I think this scripture verse in Isaiah (43:18-19) is the perfect new year verse!

“Forget the former things;

do not dwell on the past.

See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

and streams in the wasteland.”

Happy New Year star family!! God bless you and all receiving your service.
Also comes to mind: Rev. 21 Behold, I make everything new.
When we think about the new earth and sky we are going to get, we may look at today with a different perspective. God will wipe away all our tears. There shall no longer be weeping.
In the beginning the earth was without form. God made everything out of nothing. Now as certain things lose shape we must not be shocked. As a potter makes new vessels out of clay that goes out of shape, He will mould our tomorrow from the today that we don’t like.
He is faithful and will not allow us to be tested beyond our ability. All our days are written in His book. Not even a hair on our heads falls without His knowledge.
We must not lose heart in afflictions. Victory will be ours in the end.
Compared to the glory we are to receive tomorrow, today’s afflictions are nothing.
Jesus said to take up our cross and to follow Him. Let us gladly do that, and help our fellows who are struggling.
Keep up the good work. Hang in there. God loves you in more ways than you know. Love and prayers.

True. 2021 was a year of ups & downs.

It’s hard to figure out what GOD is doing in the midst of this. Of course, we know that GOD does not cause pandemics, but He permits them & works all things to good for His own purposes. We don’t know quite what GOD is doing, but we know that despite how life appears, GOD knows what He is doing.

If more & more people realize that we are dependent upon GOD & we must cling to Him & His unconditional love as the faithful constant in the midst of the many ups & downs in this life & world, then all we have experienced in 2021 will be worth it!
