Are you still thinking of Christmas gift ideas? Because that was me a couple weeks ago. It’s hard to think of a genuinely good gift that you know will be used and not tossed aside in a corner after just a few days… especially a toy! In fact, according to best-selling author and psychologist, Oliver James, kids value experiences, travel, and quality time more than toys.
So, I found these 3 unique and local experiences that you can gift to kid or an adult this holiday season and make their Christmas super special!
Diggerland
Located just outside of Trenton in Berlin county, this construction themed amusement park offers attractions for both kids and adults. You can ride, drive, and operate heavy machinery while being supervised and monitored by trusted staff. Some really neat rides include demolition trucks and bulldozers.
Address – 100 Pinedge Drive West Berlin, NJ 08091

Flying Lessons
There are tons of places across the tri-state area where you can find flying lessons, but Eagles View Aviation located at the Monmouth Executive Airport in Monmouth County offers lessons for students ranging from ages 8 to 78! In fact, kids from ages 8-17 living in Wall township, are eligible for a free discovery flight lesson!
Address – 1717 Route 34 Wall Township, NJ 07727

iFly – Indoor Skydiving
The only indoor skydiving experience in New Jersey is in Paramus! It’s all the thrills without the fear of height and safety hazards! This cool experience makes the dream of flying a reality in a safe and fun environment.
Address – 211 Rte 4, Paramus, NJ 07652

Be sure to capture the moment as you give these gifts of experiences that will last in their memory forever. Share your pictures and videos on Facebook and Instagram and tag @star991fm.

Hi I hope I’m emailing the right person. I just called 99.1 and asked if I could do a Christmas wish. But she told me that it ended. I don’t know if it’s too late to do something for a very very dear friend of mine. A year ago this December 28th she lost her 23-year-old grandson. I so want to do something special for the whole family. We’ve known each other for almost 55 years! They are struggling financially to get him the headstone. I live in New Jersey and they live in Middletown New york. I’m going to be spending between Christmas and New years with them and I’m trying to find something really helpful to do for them. Can you please let me know if there’s any way possible that you could do something to help out. My name is Karen my phone number is 856-366-8483.
Hi Karen! Unfortunately Christmas Wish has ended and we can no longer grant any wishes. But thank you so much for contacting us, and please feel free to submit your wish again next year!
