A garage I rented for storage was emptied for "repairs". I agreed to keep paying only to retain it to store more stuff. Owner made excuses, charged me for 8 months, then said he'd sold it.

He'd put my stuff (very low value) in his own garage pending "repair in a few weeks". Now he claims I was paying full rent for that and demands 6 months' payments since the sale.

I'm on a small pension.
