Letting Go Is Where Life Begins

I wonder, does this happen to you too?

For me, I’ll begin to get a sense that God is telling me something, and then I start to see and hear affirmations of it everywhere – words from a loved one, a page from a book I’m just casually glancing at, even street signs!

Seemingly, one of God’s favorite ways to reveal himself to me is through the songs we play on Star 99.1.

The last few months have been pretty rough, but I’ve found both great comfort and the strength I need for each day in the lyrics of songs on the station. And lately, as God loves to do, I’m hearing the same message over and over, in different songs… I think He must be trying to get my attention 😊.

One of my favorite Star 99.1 songs these days is a new song by Josh Baldwin, called “Into The Wild” – there’s a line in the chorus that says,

It’s time to dream like a child again

Into the wild

Letting go is where life begins

If I had the blog space, I could tell you all the ways God has been delivering the same message to me recently – I won’t flood you with too many words, but suffice it to say, He’s making the message of “letting go is where life begins” ABUNDANTLY apparent.

Letting go is a process, and I’m trying to lean into it more each day… some days I’m better at it than others. I am thankful He’s continuing to remind me about it!

If you’d care to share, I’d love to know the message that God is trying to get to you, and how is He delivering it?

I’ve heard the word “GRACE”; via God’s word, church sermons and the radio.
    Awesome message!

    Blessings!

Robert – Isn’t it amazing when God uses different people and opportunities to speak a big truth like that into our lives!

    Good morning
I’ve worked in pharmacies for about 40 years
Being a Licensed pharmacy technician i see 100s of people a day, 6 days a week and many not only become friends but feel like family and you sometimes go through their sickness together emotionally.
I’ve lost many of these friends over the years but the past 2 years have been particularly hard. And my depression is getting harder and harder to bear. Along with COVID deaths and joblessness and just regular struggles in my own family have me going to a dark place in my mind. I pray during my drive to and from work, during particular sick patients news, and at the end of the day. I talk to God all day long but I am so depressed I’m not getting my work done at home and I’m planning on retiring soon, so I need to get rid of stuff and clean out my home. But I come home, have dinner with my husband and just watch comedy shows on TV. Then I read a little before bed.
Please pray for my customers, and for me to do what I can to not only fill their prescriptions but to help ease their spirit and to always have hope. I tell them I’m praying for them and they thank me and say “Oh, I know you are ”
But I need that strength in my home life. I need energy and strength to get through my own struggles too.
Thank you for listening and may God bless you and keep you 🙏 ❤

Joanne – Thank you so much for sharing your heart. It’s obvious by your words that you care deeply for others. We will be praying for your customers, and we will be praying especially for God to grant you the strength and opportunity to take the time you need to take care of yourself!
