“Follow your dreams and go for it!” is what my Dad always used to say to me. My Mom grew up near Luzon, Philippines and she used to talk to me about her adventures to the big city of Manilla. My parents inspired me to travel, live life, and go on as many adventures as I can.
There is so much of this world to see, and since I started walking with Jesus, the adventures have more meaning and purpose – to share His love and be a part of growing His kingdom. I believe God moves us around to places where He uses the special gifts that He designed us to use. And what an honor it is when He moves us because there is a purpose to be done for His Kingdom.
God is moving me to a new place where He will use my husband and me for His special purpose. As we are so excited to see how God uses us in His plan, I am sad to say goodbye to the Star 99.1 family. You hold a special place in my heart that will always be a part of who I am, you have made me a better woman of God, I truly love your hearts. It has been so amazing sharing our lives together and sharing our journeys with Jesus together. We have been locked down together during a pandemic, snowed in together, and survived storms together. We have laughed and cried and shared our deepest pains with each other. To awaken Jesus’ love in our souls has been such a joy to my heart.
Your stories and your love will be with me on this new journey God is taking me on, so others can be blessed by the love I have gained from you. Star 99.1 has been a chapter in my life that has made me a better woman of God. May He bless you all, and always remember… BE STRONG & COURAGEOUS, the LORD is always right there with you. He won’t let you down and He won’t ever leave you.

Brenda… my sista. Over the short time that I have known you on my journey for my Mom. You truly have been inspirational and you own the word “encouraging”.
