About Skip:
I am thrilled to be waking up with you! I spent seven years as half of the “Skip and Amy Show” in Contemporary Christian Music, but before that, my career was in Country radio waking up cities like Dallas, Tampa, San Diego, Los Angeles, and more – I am a bit of a morning person!

I love football and have an unhealthy obsession with baseball, specifically my beloved California Angels.

I love movies, traveling, and community. I have this mantra – “dogs, kids, and those who serve” and work with organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project, The SPCA, and the FBI to bring awareness and enact change. I’m proud to have helped establish an organization called “Skip’s Kids” that sends hundreds of kids on adventures of all kinds.

My wife (of over forty years!!!) and I have three adult children. The kids are safely out of the house, but my wife and I live with our two cats and I’m convinced that the cats are quietly planning my demise.

About Kristen:

A true Jersey girl at heart! I was born and raised in Old Bridge, Go Knights! Graduated from Rutgers University, Go Scarlet Knights! And I've purposely driven down to the emptiest of empty gas tanks to avoid pumping my own gas!

God blessed me with a great family! My mom taught me to be encouraging and always find the silver lining. My dad taught me to work hard and get the job done right. My sister taught me to chill out and stop being so high strung and my brother taught me that if I have to laugh at my own jokes, they're probably not that funny.

In November of 2018, I married my Army man, Mike! We "dated" when we were 14, which really meant we talked on the phone and went to the movies with my parents. Years and years later, we reconnected while he was deployed in Iraq. When he came back, he met my dog, Wesley. Wesley gave me the nod of approval and the rest is history!

Speaking of Wesley, he's an Australian Shepherd and God handpicked him for me. He loves long hikes, chasing the hose and stealing apples out of my work bag. After we got married, we just knew something was missing and that's when we found Bentley! He's a cocker spaniel mix that came from a high kill shelter in Georgia and we just love him to pieces!

In April of 2022, we welcomed our sweet son, Noah, into the world! He has brought more joy than we thought was possible to feel. After enduring a devastating miscarriage in October of 2023, we welcomed our blessed rainbow baby, Brielle in January of 2025! I didn't know my heart was capable of housing THIS MUCH LOVE. It's a great reminder to me of God's immense and unconditional love for us. Thanks for taking this journey with me.
