Did you ever get just the right words at just the right time?
A friend of mine was struggling with a few things last week, and sensing something was up, I reached out to them and asked if there was anything they needed to unload to someone. You have no idea what a relief it was for them to hear that someone wanted to be there and listen to what was going on in their life. “Thank you. Thank you for just being there. I feel a lot better having told someone,” they said.
It doesn’t take much to be a blessing to someone else…sometimes all that is needed is just to lend an ear. If that’s how God needs to use you today, be that ear, be that shoulder to lean on….be that encourager.
Remind someone that they are seen, heard, and loved.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:11Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
