There are so many distractions in life – so many things that pull us away from what’s truly valuable. But when we set our hearts and minds on Jesus first, everything else falls into place.

I wrote this song to be the first song of a worship set—a heart-focusing declaration that magnifies the one who it’s all about…Jesus.

One of the most unique aspects of having faith in Jesus is the joy that it brings. Other religions might use fear, shame, or manipulation to maintain compliance, but the freedom that we have in Jesus brings joy and peace beyond understanding – regardless of our circumstances.
